Post Graduate Studies

Here at the university once I hear some teacher saying “Scientifics lives with one foot in the past and one in future” they are in the limit of reality. Historians spend those lives studying our past learning new points of view, actually it’s very important too, without this humanity maybe could make the same mistakes of our past. Filmmakers lives imagining the future (Science fiction filmmakers) showing they visions of future with advanced technology that can make us travel to another planets or devices very smart, I don’t know all that kind of stuff. Meanwhile Scientifics with the knowledge of past can be modeling things, working hard to prove their visions or assumptions.
I know it’s to be decided what I want to do the rest of my life because I don’t know in profundity the areas maybe in 3 years I could live the career and study to be the best chef of the word who knows the future is uncertain. But since I decided study Pharmacy a PhD of Biochemistry has been going around in my head, and here at the university I found another interesting area “Clinic Pharmacy”, actually I mentioned indirectly in a previous post.

It’s one of my dreams get out of the country to do a major in anything jaja, if the opportunity gives I’m going to take it without thinking twice. Because you don’t only learn whatever you were studying you’re also inside in a new society learning about their culture, the way of think and a lot of interesting things.

Your New Job

When humans figure out that food can be saved and could exchange it for something they want, was the born of trade. The fact of exchange things gives it value this make it necessary the way of a measure that valor, the born of currency it’s something that I won’t talk now but the important point it’s that humans need money to get things( food, clothes, maybe the last iPhone who knows) from others.

Since I was a child I knew that when I grew up I would have to work to earn money so that I could buy my things. I have never been working before but I see myself in a lab doing weird stuff, or maybe in a hospital like a pharmacist helping to solve some problem. I would like do everything, be outside watching or discovering things the same way as want to be inside of a laboratory. The money isn’t problem to me while I can eating well and had a place where sleep (Money doesn’t make happiness, can help sometimes but no). If your job gives you the opportunity to know other parts of the world I believe that one it’s the best job that you can get.

I would like take some courses in physics or biology soon, physics will help me to solve a lot of problems (actually when I hear the word physics imagine a brain making exercise) and biology because I want to focus in that area.
"Maybe me and my team doing some weird stuff"

Our Amazing Human Body: Our Magnificent Eyes

The world it’s amazing the nature, and all the living species are beautiful. The night sky with stars up there actually we invented technologic devices to watch them better, but what would be us without our sight to watch this beauty?

Our eyes understand the environment using light reflected of the objects of there, transforming the light into chemical information that travel by neuronal fibers until the back side of the brain (occipital lobe), were the visual scene is accomplished by the visual association cortex.

With the size of two chestnuts in the front part of our face, the eyes are very exposed to outside of our organism. This can bring a lot of problems with contamination and bacterial diseases but the natural selection do his work, now we have a lot of mechanism of defense like our eyelashes, eye lids, eyebrows and finally our tears.

The most common diseases of the eyes are: glaucoma, conjunctivitis (bacterial) and problems with the shape of the eye like astigmatism, myopia, and farsightedness.

The eyes are the windows of our soul.

The Best Holidays

In my last holidays me and my friends got a

journey around the lakes in the south of the Araucania region. It was summer so we haven’t problems with the weather, five days we spend traveling in those small towns.

Our first parade was Lican ray, “Lican” means rock and “Ray” flower in the original language (Mapudungun), it is in the north of Calafquen lake and if you watch to the east you can see the Villarica´s Volcano. We stayed two days there it was wonderful because it was my first holidays without my parents so we were free to do whatever we want (sleep until 2pm, go to the beach in the night, etc.)

Then our next destiny was “Caburgua”, Caburgua it’s a little town nearly to the Mountains of “Cordillera de los Andes” so his panoramic view its full of hills and waterfalls, actually we go to a place called “Ojos del Caburgua” there are waterfalls from the Caburgua lake trough undergrown water canals.

¡ The South is Wonderful !

My Blogging Experience

Blogger was an experience really good for me, lecture and writing have been out of my life for too many years, that’s bad well and it’s my fault… When I was a child in my daily life the days classes end all my free time I spent it playing or doing a complete different thing then go home to study (read the book for the next week), so tired after all my day, my mom helped me reading all the book. This platform where a lot of writers born its very helpful to the hour of practice our drafting abilities and publish your ideas or simply the way you see the world.
I still believe I should improve because I know that I can do it better this is an experience that I will keep doing after finish the course.

Well like you can see I’m bad drafting texts I’m better telling histories so maybe one day the weekly blog can ask for a video of you telling a history about anything that you want. In the same way that I wrote a couple months ago, “You’re Favorite Place in the World” it’s a good idea to add to the weekly blog, I have a lot of write of this because I have a lot favorite places actually that was the point I believe that every place had his own magic, and that’s awesome, see the world of different points of view. Find another person who like me it would have been very entertaining.

Gene Therapy, The Future is Now

DNA has been a mystery to mankind since he became aware of it, this “little” piece of us have the information to create a complete new human, with all his complexity. A group of concentrate DNA we called “genes”, those genes have the specifically information to make some part of the body, the color of your eyes, the color of your hair, and all the things that you can imagine of our organism. But not everything is perfect, this genes by a lot of possible mistakes can be wrong and do things for which they are not intended.
The gene therapy is an experimental technique that uses genes to treat or prevent disease. This is real and the Scientific’s have been doing it for years, actually the first therapeutic use of gene transfer as well as the first direct insertion of human DNA into the nuclear genome was performed in September 1990.
The use of this can change the way we see the world, that is the reason because a choose it. In my career teach us about the use, action, and all that you need to know about drugs, the gene therapy can finish this because you will change your DNA so the sickness or disability would change from inside, meanwhile drugs can do this but its more invasive and difficult.
I met this technique on the school, since there I been in love of science because I thing is a "one giant leap for mankind" just like an big man say it in 1969 because with this in the future, allow doctors will be able to treat a disorder by inserting a gene into a patient’s cells instead of using drugs or surgery and so many other things that will make the man of the future healthier and turn "perfect".

A person who admire

This man doesn’t know that his idea would change the way we see the world and our existence here, Charles Robert Darwin on 1859 published his book “On the Origin of Species” where he explain the theory of evolution with compelling evidence that the scientific community can’t reject.

Charles Darwin born in 12th of February at 1809 he was an English naturist, geologist and biologist. He travel for the entire world compiling information about every living thing, actually he was in our country.

Darwin at Chilean waterways.
The Beagle ship arrival in our country was on 1832 exactly in “Tierra del Fuego”. Were two years on Chilean coasts watching the animals, geologist properties of our land and the diversity of flowers and plants.

I like a lot the nature too and it's awesome to me the way he had discover the similarities of animals and creates this idea of "natural selection" to explain how and why we are just the way we are through the evolution. This fact motivates me to follow his steps and discover things that help us to understand a little more the world where we live.

My favourite book and film

When I was a child, read much more that I read now, maybe is because it was required in school, yeah that’s wrong I have to changed it. But at the age of 12 I got the book that would be my favourite book. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician's Nephew took me to another world using just my imagination, well that’s what all book does or not? The story is about two kids traveling to different dimensions thanks to two magical rings, the end of this history show or explain how the Wardrobe can send people to Narnia. It’s a really cool history with some similarities with Christian Religion and Ireland culture, similarities that the author don’t confirm but if you read the book, you can see it.

My favourite movie … I don’t know because a like a lot of movies, but the movie that it comes to my head now is Interstellar, an epic science fiction film about the need to get another planet to live, I like a lot the theme because when a I was a child I wanted to be an Astronaut too and all my life I been interested in the start and life in another planets.

A photograph you like

I always been liked it the photography but I don’t have any camera, in summer I used to take a lot of photos with my best friend camera but only a few weeks, so I have to learn a lot yet. Actually I made the photo of my post.

The following photo has been taken by my old friend Camilo Obregon, he is from Temuco too and we shared the passion of photography, Camilo captured this moment that is really important to me, has been taken in Tombillo, San Pedro de Atacama at September of 2015. I would really like known what's going on out there, the universe is really big and have a lot of new stuff to see, to capture…

I love the way the camera takes all the light and makes a unique photo, in this one appears an arm of the Milky Way and the millions of starts of the universe.

Music in my life

The music is an important part of my life, I grew up listening my parent’s music, they love disco and the pop music of 70’s and 80’s like Michael Jackson, Queen, Kc and the sunshine band. Now I’m still listening that music, I really like it because it reminds me my childhood.
At the age of 10 I began play guitar in the school, now I’m not a professional but I like a lot play new songs and that stuff. So the king of music that a like the most its acoustic stuff, songs that I can play in my guitar. At the age of 14 I played Violoncello but only for one year because my teacher traveled to Italy to play in a famous orchestra.
I think that the best singer in the world was Freddie Mercury his voice is unmatched.
I doesn’t hate music but when a was younger I listen a lot of church songs because my basic school is an Adventist School so we could only hear that kind of music.
The soundtrack of Grease is just amazing, is the best musical movie that I have been seen, you just can't forget "you`re the one that I want" its a classic.

The music should be important for everyone because you can connect with someone, communicate your feelings and so many things… What do you think about it? My advice is find out ;)

My favourite technology device

The most important piece of technology to me is the personal computer or notebook, the first time that I use one was when I was only 8 years old, then computers where different from what they are now, the big box with a lot of wires inside was the brain of the computer and all the information travel by others wires to another box called screen. I got my first PC at age of 12, by an government program, thank to this many child’s in my town had his own computer. Now I use the computer every day and I liked so much because I can do a lot of things at the same time like: listen music, chat with my friends and search things on Internet. A life without a computer it would be catastrophic, because the computer is the most important device to connect us on Internet, and without him the information that we need, or the games that we want to play or too many things that we do every day migth not do it.

English Language Challenges

I been always interested on learn other languages, actually I can “cheer” in 6 different languages (don’t ask me why). When I was a little ...
